Chalong Southern Thai

The crab curry was incredibly flavorful – rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The shrimp tacos were absolutely outstanding: fresh, creative, and with a bold kick – spicy but right on point! The service was warm and attentive throughout. Chalong has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite places. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Recommended by one of my colleagues and it sure did not disappoint. Love the way the chefs utilize different types of spices and herbs to compliment every single dish here. Bravo!

I’m Thai, and I can honestly say this place serves real Thai food. The flavors are authentic, balanced, and remind me of home. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, with a lively vibe that makes you feel welcome the moment you step in. One thing to know: you really need to make a reservation before going. The restaurant is always packed, which tells you how popular it is—but also means walk-ins are tough. The staff were warm, attentive, and kept the energy upbeat even when the place was buzzing with people. Portions are generous, and the presentation is simple but full of character—just like true Thai food should be. Definitely coming back!

Authentic, Flavorful Thai Food , Definitely Coming Back! Stopped by Chalong Southern Thai for lunch and had a great experience. I got there right when they opened at 12, and it filled up fast always a good sign. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and service was quick even as it got busy. I ordered the See Lew Chicken and Kee Mao as part of their lunch special (Monday through Friday), and they even threw in two free wings with the meal. Everything was delicious and savory, well-seasoned, and super satisfying. You can tell they really care about the quality of their food. It was about 100° outside, but inside was nice and cool thanks to the strong AC, which made lunch even more enjoyable. For two people, with sparkling water, tax, and tip, we spent about $62. Felt totally worth it for the quality of food and service we got. They did offer 5% off for writing a review, but I didn’t take it this is just my honest take because they really earned the good feedback. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving Thai food!

Elite dining experience. Fixed menu with a nice variety of options. I don’t handle spice well (at all)…. But I NEEDED the crab curry. It was heavenly and full of flavor. I couldn’t stop eating it, in part to when I stopped eating it my mouth was bursting with warmth, but in the best way. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food but I think I got the best dish. Get the roti!! It’s a cozy little spot that you should definitely plan for and make a reservation!

We love this place! It’s perfect for sharing dishes with a group of friends. Highly recommend the crab curry and fried wings — both were packed with flavor. The fish was also delicious, though the portion was quite small. Overall, great spot for a fun, casual meal.

Everything we ordered was so flavorful and fresh, we couldn’t stop eating! The Scallop and orange curry were spot on, and the Fish soup was hands down the best I’ve had in a long time. You can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients. The vibe of the place is super cozy and clean, and especially the staff, Bookie is just the sweetest, so kind, helpful, and welcoming. It felt like they really wanted us to have a good time (and we did!). If you’re craving some delicious, authentic Thai food with great service and a chill atmosphere, Cha Long Thai is definitely worth checking out. We’ll 100% be back soon!
